Meet The Maker
My name is Julie and I am the owner and operator of The Pari Soapery.I am a mother, wife and grandmother who is doing something I love. After retiring after 34 years from working at the provincial School for the Visually Impaired I decided to pursue a dream. I have suffered from eczema and allergic skin rashes for years. I had always wanted to use fancy bath products but allergies to fragrances and other things kept stopping me. The answer was to learn how to make my own. A friend introduced me to dōTERRA essential oils and then using kitchen cupboard ingredients I began to experiment making my own products. I steered away from chemicals such as SLSA and used buttermilk instead and used essential oils in place of fragrance oils. Lots of olive oil makes our products moisturizing and skin soothing. Puréed fruits and vegetables colour my soaps in order to still have beautiful naturally. I have a studio at my home in Brantford where my product is made and a home store for shopping by appointment.
My husband Daryle is my biggest supporter. He has encouraged me every step of the way and is my extra set of hands when cutting and delivering wholesale orders. If you take advantage of our free delivery service it will most likely be him you see.
As a couple we love to travel (hopefully that will happen again someday) We try to support local businesses whenever possible and we really encourage you to do the same.
I look forward to learning more about all of you—my supportive customers Stop by and visit me or drop a comment to say hi
